[00:00:01] I've literally had to dust off my microphone for this session because it's been so long since we recorded.
[00:00:07] Like, I know you've been busy with Grounded, colon, a climate startup journey.
[00:00:11] Obviously, your microphone is hot. Mine needs some warming up.
[00:00:17] Yeah, well, mine, I can't get mine away. It's been out the whole year, to be fair, so.
[00:00:22] Are we still talking about your microphone?
[00:00:25] Dust it off. Dust off the... Can you hear that, Beth? Maybe you can. Let's dust it off.
[00:00:30] Please, please, guys, this is horrendous. Please stop.
[00:00:36] Right, with your microphone dusted off, are we ready?
[00:00:41] Yeah, I'm ready.
[00:00:42] Okay.
[00:00:49] Hello, Carbon Removal fans.
[00:00:52] Hello, hello. Tom Braviti here.
[00:00:54] Emily Swaddle. Nice to be back, Tom, if only briefly.
[00:00:58] It's good to be back. Very good. Yeah, very brief, but we are back.
[00:01:02] I feel like we need to build up, like a drumroll or something, because this feels like a big announcement.
[00:01:07] It's been coming for a while. We have been, since you last heard from us at the end of season three,
[00:01:12] we've been busy beans. Busy beans? That's not what you say. Busy bees. We'd be busy bees.
[00:01:19] Busy bees. Very busy.
[00:01:20] And we are now finally ready to share our busyness with you, lovely listeners. Tom, take the stage.
[00:01:28] Okay, mic in hand.
[00:01:31] We, as the Carbon Removal Show, are incredibly excited to announce that we have launched a coalition.
[00:01:40] Aptly named the Carbon Removal Show Coalition, because, you know, there's nothing wrong with our name.
[00:01:48] If you follow us on LinkedIn, which you should, because there's a lot of fun that goes on over there,
[00:01:53] you may already know about this. We're really excited to be sharing this with you.
[00:01:59] The coalition is us making sure that we can keep making our show with the support of the carbon removal community,
[00:02:05] and that's including the financial support, but also it's the support of the experience in the community,
[00:02:14] the research that's going on, the innovation, and, you know, a bit of moral support from our friends across the CDR community.
[00:02:20] Moral support and bags on it.
[00:02:23] And after three years and three seasons of the Carbon Removal Show,
[00:02:28] can't believe we've been doing it for that long, long may it continue,
[00:02:31] our thinking of how we produce the show has evolved.
[00:02:35] And through speaking with others within the carbon removal industry,
[00:02:38] the coalition felt like a natural evolution of what we're doing.
[00:02:43] So here we are at the beginning of this coalition adventure,
[00:02:47] which in itself will continue to evolve as we move forward.
[00:02:50] We want to say a huge thank you to our coalition partners who have joined us,
[00:02:56] their belief in our vision and their support means everything.
[00:03:02] Yes, a big thank you to BZERO, Carbon Engineering, Carbon Future, Carbon Gap,
[00:03:09] CarbonX, Klarna, Mashmakes,
[00:03:13] Milky Wire, The Negative Emissions Platform,
[00:03:16] Opner, Patch, Pinwheel, Planboo, Recarber,
[00:03:21] Standard Gas Technologies and Supercritical.
[00:03:24] And an additional thank you to our individual supporters,
[00:03:27] Sebastian Manhart and Eva Tamer.
[00:03:30] What a group of members.
[00:03:32] And we are still welcoming more members to the coalition.
[00:03:36] So if it is of interest, please, please do reach out to us at
[00:03:40] info at thecarbonremovalshow.com.
[00:03:43] We realise that this is quite a unique method of funding and supporting a podcast.
[00:03:49] So if you want to find out more, get in touch or visit thecarbonremovalshow.com
[00:03:54] and click on support the show.
[00:03:56] We know we have a lot of listeners out there who maybe won't be able to give us the financial
[00:04:01] support through the coalition.
[00:04:03] That's totally OK.
[00:04:05] We still love you.
[00:04:06] And we so much appreciate your moral support.
[00:04:08] Follow us on LinkedIn if you aren't there already.
[00:04:12] And keep your eyes peeled and your ears pricked for Season 4.
[00:04:18] Coming soon.
[00:04:20] Speaking of all this moral support and Season 4,
[00:04:23] we better get our skates on, Emily.
[00:04:25] We should probably start producing this.
[00:04:27] I mean, my microphone's ready.
[00:04:29] Let's do it.
[00:04:30] All right.
[00:04:31] Next time you hear from us, Season 4 will have dropped.
[00:04:34] Boom.
[00:04:35] Bye for now.
[00:04:37] Mic drop.
