Support The Show
In 2024, whilst looking ahead to Season 4 of the podcast, we decided to take a new approach to the way we fund the show. Having
taken on feedback from various CDR stakeholders, our fans, our guests, and from within the team, it's clear that a coalition model makes sense going
forward. The basic idea is to offer industry members and fans of
the show the chance to support us so that we can continue to support the
industry through the podcast and beyond. We are very excited about this new model, the chance to connect more deeply with the CDR community, and the potential to grow together. Read on to find out more. Let's do this!
Coalition Members
"We aim to create a coalition of like-minded organisations and individuals committed to our shared goals and principles"
Goals & Principles
The work we do and the content we make will always strive to:
● Enhance trust and transparency within the carbon removal industry.
● Grow the buyer market for carbon removal and educate potential buyers about the role that carbon removal might play in their net zero plans.
● Increase CDR literacy among publics and stakeholders.
● Advocate for supportive policy developments at national and international levels.
While doing this, we will affirm that:
● We believe that carbon removal technologies and deployments should be developed responsibly, ethically and sustainably.
● We believe that rapid and significant decarbonisation is necessary alongside carbon removal in order to achieve net zero goals.
● We believe that we must continue to be informed and led by the best evidence, be open to learning, and be honest about where knowledge gaps remain.
● We believe that all players in this space (including ourselves) have the responsibility to lead by example, and create the kind of industry we want to be part of.
By joining the coalition and supporting The Carbon Removal Show,
Partners and Supporters will align themselves with these key values and contribute to a collective mission to drive scaling and positive impact in our industry.

How Can You Help?
We have been considering how we can best sustain our mission-driven podcast and deliver impactful content without compromising our editorial integrity. Following extensive feedback and engagement with industry players, we are excited to be transitioning to a distributed funding model, seeking support from a diverse group of organisations and individuals.
Organisations are invited to pledge at least £1,500/year to join us as coalition Partners.
Individuals are invited to pledge at least £250/year to join us as coalition Supporters.
All partners and supporters will be making a statement of intent about the future of CDR, while helping us to make the podcast and deliver on our wider goals.
Why A Coalition?
If our time in this space has taught us anything, it’s that integrity and community are going to be key drivers for the development of CDR.
As we look to the future, we recognise the difficult decisions that marketing departments are having to make in relation to building awareness and understanding of this pioneering industry, and we don’t just want a quid-pro-quo arrangement whereby we offer brand exposure in exchange for ads.
We also believe our mission is bigger than content creation: we set out to demystify and support the ethical development of CDR, and we want to keep doing that in a way that serves industry, buyers, and wider publics.
